THE HAVIN’ A LAUGH SOAPBOX DERBY

Get involved, get creative & enjoy the craic…

The Havin’ a Laugh Soapbox Derby will be held on Saturday, 4th May 2019 in conjunction with the Sligo Summer Festival.

For this soapbox derby, we want to get the whole community involved and so we are inviting local men’s sheds and other community groups to build their own soapbox racer and enter a team.

The Soapbox Derby will be made up of teams of four people who will race against the clock for prizes, including best dressed and wackiest design, with the main winners being awarded a framed photo of their soapbox crossing the finishing line.

The Soapbox Derby promises to be a great day out with plenty of thrills and spills so come along and enjoy the spectacle!
