Annaghmore is a private estate, owned by the O’Hara family, located outside Collooney Co. Sligo.  In 2014 The Charity approached  Durcan O’Hara with the idea of finding a site on the estate on which to run our charity outdoor events.   After an afternoon exploring we came across an old hand-chiseled quarry, over 200 years old and completely overgrown.  The effect of this ancient activity has left this area similar in shape to an amphitheater. Perfect for hosting live music, theatre, and events today.

Standing together on the upper ridge of this sleeping hollow there was a unified agreement that the space was asking for us to build a stage so it could be host to human activity once more.

The charity over the years has built a stage, a kitchen, and toilet facilities and hosted a number of uplifting outdoor day and evening events.

The site has remained unused for the last few years and it is now the desire of the O’Hara’s and the charity to share with you once more this special area of land that our ancestors shaped for us so that we would have a place to gather and re-connect.

What we have learned during these challenging times is that gatherings do not need to be complicated, we have the space and we have each other.  There are bbq areas and we will have the coals burning, bring your own food and beverages. There is limited electricity and water that will be used for teas and coffees. There is no running water but there are eco-toilets.

We will not be hosting overnight camping and those who are driving are expected to consume non-alcoholic beverages. The cinema will be finished by 11 pm and the gates closed by 11.30 pm

Capacity limited to 100 including site crew and guests. Pre-booking is essential for all;-) This event is weather permitting, if conditions are adverse you will have the choice of a direct refund or hold your pass for a future re-scheduled date.
